Belarus's Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ukraine's chargé d'affaires in Belarus, Ivan Novitsky, and delivered a protest note following the UAV attack targeting a Belarusian-plated truck in Russia's Bryansk region on Oct. 8.
Belarusian authorities said a Belarusian woman was seriously injured during the attack. Novitsky was invited to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to receive the diplomatic protest.
Minsk said the attack may have been deliberate
Belarus's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it was clear that the truck belonged to Belarus and noted that Ukraine had previously been warned that such actions were unacceptable. The ministry said these factors formed the basis for its assessment that the attack may have been deliberate.

Minsk warned Kyiv against any recurrence of similar incidents. Belarus's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Ukrainian authorities would bear full responsibility for any consequences that might arise and that Belarus reserved the right to respond appropriately.
Belarus also called for an end to provocations that escalate tensions.
