Aleksandr Lapin will become Tatarstan deputy prime minister for SVO support
Tatarstan leader Rustam Minnikhanov announced in Kazan on September 28 that Hero of Russia Aleksandr Lapin would be appointed deputy prime minister in the republic’s government. Lapin will coordinate the work of a separate government unit providing support to SVO participants.
Hero of Russia and Colonel General Aleksandr Lapin will take up a new position in the Tatarstan government overseeing support for participants in the special military operation (SVO).
Tatarstan leader Rustam Minnikhanov announced during his annual address to parliament in Kazan on September 28 that Lapin would be appointed deputy prime minister in the republic’s government.
Under Minnikhanov’s announcement, a separate unit responsible for supporting SVO participants will be established within the Tatarstan government. As deputy prime minister, Lapin will coordinate the unit’s work.
