Ushakov says Russia-US-Ukraine talks could be held in Abu Dhabi
Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said a new trilateral round of talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine could be held in Abu Dhabi. Ushakov said the meetings were planned for mid-November, around the 10th of the month, and that the timing remained uncertain despite progress toward resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov announced Abu Dhabi as an option for a new trilateral round of talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine.
Ushakov said the diplomatic contacts were planned for mid-November, around the 10th of the month.
Assessing the process of resolving the conflict in Ukraine, Ushakov said it was moving toward its conclusion. However, he said it was not yet possible to clearly assess how close the process was to a resolution.
"I do not know how close we are, but the process is moving in that direction," Ushakov said.
