Ukraine's Air Force says MiG-29 caught fire during mission over Odesa
Ukraine's Air Force announced that a MiG-29 fighter jet operating in the Odesa region caught fire on the evening of August 10. The pilot ejected and was taken to a medical facility, while the cause of the incident is being investigated.

The Air Force said the aircraft was carrying out a mission on the evening of August 10 to destroy aerial targets belonging to the opposing side. The MiG-29 experienced a technical problem while launching a missile from the air, then caught fire and lost control.
The pilot, who attempted to save the aircraft, later used the ejection seat to leave it safely. The pilot was taken to a medical facility, and the cause of the incident is being investigated.
