Turkish envoy, Ukrainian agriculture minister discuss Black Sea shipping safety
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Ukraine Fatma Ceren Yazgan met Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotskyi to discuss food security, Black Sea navigation safety and agricultural cooperation.
Türkiye’s Ambassador in Kyiv Fatma Ceren Yazgan met Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotskyi on Oct. 13, and the embassy thanked him for “a very productive meeting.”
The two exchanged views on food security, with particular emphasis on maritime navigation safety in the Black Sea, and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in agriculture.
Yazgan was appointed ambassador to Ukraine in August 2026 after serving in the Netherlands and Georgia. Vysotskyi took charge of Ukraine’s re-established agriculture ministry in July 2026.
