Russia’s national pavilion in Vietnam took part in the 2026 EWEC trade, tourism and investment fair for the East-West Economic Corridor, held at the Da Nang Exhibition Centre. The Nguyen Hong company operated the pavilion in Vietnam.
The participation focused on bringing products promoted under the national “Made in Russia” brand to consumers in Da Nang and neighboring regions of Vietnam, as well as establishing connections with new customers and business partners.
Russian products showcased in central Vietnam
The Russian stand prepared by Nguyen Hong displayed vegetable oils, meat and deli products, red caviar, sauces, spices, non-alcoholic beverages and canned goods. These products were identified as product groups with export potential for the market in central Vietnam.
Visitors examined the products and took part in tastings. Chi Nguyen, from Da Nang’s Thanh Khe district, said the event helped her become more familiar with Russian products. Nguyen said making these products more widely available in the city could increase consumer interest.
New market opportunities for Russian exporters
The Russian Export Center said sales conducted during the fair demonstrated interest in the products. The center said strong demand could enable Russian exporters to expand their presence in the market of central Vietnam.
Russia’s national pavilion operates as a project run by the Russian Export Center to promote Russian non-raw-material products in foreign markets under a common brand. The pavilion network operates in eight countries: China, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Egypt, Jordan and India.
The Russian Export Center, part of the VEB.RF Group, is a state institution that supports non-raw-material and non-energy exports and provides companies with financial and non-financial support for entering international markets. Most of its services are provided through the digital public platform called “My Export.”
The center’s responsibilities also include operating and supporting the “Made in Russia” program. Organizations within the VEB.RF Group include Exar, which insures export credits and investments, Roseximbank and the Russian Export Center’s Export School.
