Russian junior women shooters win silver medal at world championship
Three young women athletes from Russia won the team silver medal in the 50m small-bore rifle prone event at the Junior World Shooting Championships in Suhl, Germany.
Maria Kruglova, Anastasia Gorokhova, and Elena Kretinina from Russia took second place in the 50m small-bore rifle prone team event at the Junior World Shooting Championships in Suhl, Germany.
The Russian athletes scored a total of 1857.7 points. The Swiss team won the gold medal with 1871.7 points, while the Czech Republic team placed third with 1856.6 points.
The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) allows Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in international competitions under a neutral individual status. The championship will conclude on June 26.
