Moscow's Suppliers Portal, which brings together public procurement in Russia, expanded to 48 regions after public institutions in Kamchatka joined the system in September.
Maria Bagreyeva, Moscow's deputy mayor and head of the capital's Department of Economic Policy and Development, announced that state organizations in Kamchatka can now purchase goods and services from suppliers across the country. Businesses listed on the portal will also gain access to a new sales market in Kamchatka.
Kamchatka suppliers have used the system for 12 years
Businesses in Kamchatka have been offering services and products to buyers in different regions through the platform for 12 years. These include education and entertainment services, cosmetics and various other products.
In the first half of the year, buyers in the Kursk and Lipetsk regions and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast also joined the portal. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced in August that the Donetsk People's Republic had connected to the platform.
150 businesses from Kamchatka are listed on the portal
Kirill Purtov, head of Moscow's Department of Competition Policy, said that representatives of 150 businesses from Kamchatka use the system. With public institutions in the region added as buyers, businesses in Kamchatka are expected to conclude more agreements among themselves for the supply of goods and services.
Purchasing and sales transactions are conducted electronically through the portal, and no fee is charged to access the system. In-person training sessions are organized to support new users during the adaptation process. An introductory program for buyers in Kamchatka is planned for October.
The platform lists more than 3.6 million products and services
The platform, which has operated for 13 years to automate small-scale purchases, lists more than 3.6 million products, works and services. More than 1,500 contracts are signed through the system each day.
The portal has more than 60,000 buyers and over 410,000 suppliers among its users. Bagreyeva had announced in mid-August that Moscow signed more than 30,000 contracts with businesses in the regions through the portal during the first six months of 2026.
