The opening ceremony was attended by Turkey's Ambassador to Dushanbe Umut Acar, TİKA President Abdullah Eren, World Ethnosport Confederation President Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan, as well as Tajik officials and numerous guests.

The project addresses a specific need of the city: as a result of the expansion of Dushanbe's boundaries in recent years, a new population of about 250 thousand people has been included within the city's administrative limits, increasing demand for basic public services, especially in new residential areas. With the completion of the center, residents of the Chortepa neighborhood and adjacent areas will find it easier to receive primary medical care, the coverage of preventive services will expand, and the district's medical infrastructure will be strengthened.

Speaking at the ceremony, Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan noted that seeing how many people Turkey's support reaches in this region is a sign of strong relations and fraternal feelings between Turkey and Tajikistan. He also said that during the visit, issues of strengthening Turkish-Tajik ties were discussed, and he thanked TİKA for its work in friendly and brotherly countries under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
We hope that this significant investment in healthcare will bring benefit and well-being to the brotherly people of Tajikistan.
