The Russian Defense Ministry announced that a group strike was carried out on military industrial facilities in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The ministry stated that the strike was conducted with ground-launched high-precision weapons.
The statement said the operation was a retaliation for the Kyiv administration's attacks on civilian infrastructure on Russian territory.
The Russian Defense Ministry stated that among the targets was an industrial enterprise belonging to the company "SAMSUNG-UKRAINA." It was alleged that components for the ground-launched FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missiles were produced and stored at this facility.
It was also claimed that a workshop where long- and medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles are assembled was hit.
