Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a directive on the preparation of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Pushkin Memorial Museum-Apartment, a federal cultural institution. In the list published by the Kremlin press service on July 9, the Ministry of Culture and the St. Petersburg government were tasked with assisting in the commemorative events in 2027.
The directive was prepared following the meeting of the Council for the Support of the Russian Language and Languages of the Peoples of Russia held on June 2. The celebrations will be organized within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Pushkin Museum-Apartment in St. Petersburg, which is part of the All-Russian A.S. Pushkin Museum.
Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova and St. Petersburg Governor Aleksandr Beglov will be responsible for the implementation of the directive. The relevant institutions were required to submit reports on the matter by January 1, 2027, and January 1, 2028.
