Russia’s energy product exports to European Union countries have reached $320.7 billion since 2022, according to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
Novak said the total was higher than the $250 billion figure previously announced by the United States.
Russia shipped $21.3 billion in energy products to Europe in nine months
Data from Russia’s Ministry of Energy showed that the value of energy products sent to Europe in the first nine months of 2026 was $21.3 billion.
Novak said energy shipments had continued despite the sanctions and that exports remained ongoing in areas covered by sanctions exemptions. Novak said Russia continued to fulfill its contractual obligations and noted that the structure of exports to the European Union had changed significantly in recent years, while shipments requested by European buyers continued.

Russian and U.S. companies discuss diesel fuel
Novak also announced that Russian and U.S. companies had begun talks on diesel fuel supplies. He said the talks were being held in parallel with contacts between the Russian Ministry of Energy and the U.S. Department of Energy.
Novak said Russia could increase its diesel fuel exports to global markets to 3.5 million tons per month by the end of the year, arguing that additional shipments from Russia would contribute to the balance between global supply and demand.
Novak cited rising transportation costs and a shortage of vessels among the main reasons for the increase in oil prices.
