Renovation work is continuing at more than 200 residential buildings in northern Moscow included in the 2026 regional capital repair program. The program, carried out by specialists from Moscow's municipal services complex, covers buildings from different periods in the city's housing infrastructure.
Old and high-rise buildings included in the program
Several high-rise buildings in the Northern Administrative Okrug are also included in the 2026 program. Blocks 1 and 2 of Building No. 20 on Dmitrovsky Proyezd in Timiryazevsky District are 25-story structures built in 1989-1990 under a special design.
Comprehensive repair work is being carried out on these cross-shaped buildings, including their facades, roofs, basements and engineering systems.
Building constructed in 1932
The oldest building in the program is also located in Timiryazevsky District. Block 1 of Building No. 1 on Dmitrovskoye Highway was constructed in 1932 under a special design by architect Lev Shapovalov.
The L-shaped building consists of a rectangular main section and a corner section. Constructivist influences can be seen in the building's architectural appearance.
Moscow's municipal services complex said the regional program for the comprehensive repair of residential buildings is aligned with the goals and objectives of the national project called "Infrastructure for Life."
