Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant's transport workshop hit by drone attacks
The transport workshop at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant came under a series of drone attacks overnight. Plant management said the full extent of the damage could not be assessed due to the risk of renewed strikes.
The transport workshop at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant came under a series of drone attacks overnight. Plant management announced that the strikes hit the facility’s transport section.
According to the statement, part of one building and a repair area were damaged in the attacks. The full extent of the damage could not be determined because the threat of further strikes in the area persisted, it was reported.
Plant management said inspections to assess the damage were also limited for that reason. The facility is among the nuclear power plants operating under Rosatom.
