A power grid failure in Crimea has negatively affected the peninsula's water supply system. According to the Crimea Water Utility, water cuts are occurring in some settlements in the north and west.
Partial cuts are in effect in the districts of Belogorsk, Nizhnegorsk and Krasnogvardeyskoye, as well as the cities of Feodosia, Bakhchysarai and Saky. Water supply has been completely halted in the settlements of Krasnoperekopsk, Armyansk, Razdolnoye and the districts of Krasnoperekopsk and Razdolnoye.
Water tankers have been dispatched to the area and distribution is underway to meet residents' needs. Repair work is ongoing.
Earlier, the Krymenergo company reported that due to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, power outages occurred in some settlements in the northern, eastern and western energy districts of the peninsula, and measures were being taken to restore electricity.
