MOSCOW, May 29 — Dmitriy Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, said that European Union countries are direct parties to the war against Russia. Medvedev argued that Ukraine is used as a proxy in this scenario and claimed that this is no longer debated. In his statement, he alleged that drones from Europe, their parts, and other weapons, as well as intelligence support, are part of the attacks against Russia. Medvedev said these attacks have caused damage to homes and casualties among civilians in Russia. He also attributed responsibility for the attack in Starobelsk to European figures such as Ursula von der Leyen, Friedrich Merz, Emmanuel Macron, and Keir Starmer.
