Before applying
- Before making payment, select your mission on konsolosluk.gov.tr and review the amount in the Costs tab.konsolosluk.gov.tr(Official site)
- Depending on the procedure, prepare your identity document, passport, photograph, local authority document, petition, and, if required, consent documents.
Passport and identity
- Submit your Turkish identity document, previous passports, a biometric photograph taken within the last 6 months, and the application form.
- If you are 15 or older, your biometric data and signature will be collected; two people who may collect the card will be designated.
Civil registry records
- Apply with the local birth certificate and the parents' identity documents to the mission responsible for the region where the birth occurred.
- Apply with the marriage certificate and the spouses' identity documents; the registration application may also be made by mail.
- Apply to the mission in person or by mail with the local death certificate and the deceased's identity document and passport.
- If you have acquired Russian or Ukrainian citizenship, report it to the mission in person or through a special power of attorney; applications by mail are not accepted.
