Registration preparation

• 1. Determine your address of stay and registration periodDepending on whether you are staying at a hotel, a rented home, or another address, check who must make the registration and the deadline.
• 2. Prepare your documentsPrepare your passport, migration card, document showing your right to stay, and any required residence or previous-address documents.
• 3. Give your documents to the receiving partyShow your passport and migration card to the receiving party; do not allow them to retain your documents.
• 4. Submit the arrival notification on timeSubmit the notification within the applicable period through the receiving party, hotel, МФЦ, Ministry of Internal Affairs unit, Gosuslugi, or post.
• 5. Check and pay the fee noticePay the 500-ruble fee notice that arrives in your personal account for an electronic application.
• 6. Receive the detachable portionReceive the detachable portion of the notification issued after the application and keep it as your registration document.
• 7. Register again when changing addressesWhen you move to a new address in Russia, submit a new notification within 7 working days.
