Farewell ceremony for Russian actor Mikhail Nozhkin to be held in Moscow
A farewell ceremony for People's Artist of the Russian Federation Mikhail Nozhkin will take place at the lower church of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow on Thursday, June 25. The ceremony will start at 10:30.
The Press Service of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia announced that a farewell ceremony will be held for Russian actor Mikhail Nozhkin.

Mikhail Nozhkin passed away on Monday at the age of 89.
Nozhkin was born on January 19, 1937 in Moscow. In 1961, he graduated from the Stage Arts Theatre Studio of the Moscow Variety Theatre and joined the theatre's company that same year.
The actor was known for his roles in films such as 'The Road to Calvary', 'The Resident's Mistake', 'The Beginning of Glorious Deeds', 'The Youth of Peter the Great', 'Solo Voyage' and 'Liberation'.
