1. Register the birth in Ukraine within one month
Apply at the ДРАЦС, ЦНАП, or authorized local unit and collect the birth certificate.Birth and registration
- Apply at the ДРАЦС, ЦНАП, or authorized local unit and collect the birth certificate.
- Prepare the passports, the healthcare facility document, the marriage certificate if necessary, and certified Ukrainian translations.
- Report the birth of a child born abroad to the diplomatic mission within 60 days; for a birth outside marriage, apply in person.
- If a marriage performed before a foreign authority has not yet been registered in Türkiye, register the marriage before registering the birth.
- Apply in person by appointment for the child's Turkish identity card and passport; submit the consent form and documents if necessary.
- If one parent is a Ukrainian citizen, apply to a State Migration Service unit and submit the required apostilled documents.
- Using the document showing the child's Ukrainian citizenship, have the multiple-citizenship note entered in the Turkish civil registry.
- Prepare a valid passport for the Ukrainian citizen child and, if necessary, the other parent's notarized consent.
