Distance education during wartime: checklist

Before planning distance education in Ukraine, check your enrollment date, type of education, YÖK requirements, and required documents.

0/6 steps done
YOUR NEXT STEP

1. Check your enrollment date

If you newly enrolled in Ukraine after 12 February 2022, take into account that YÖK does not grant equivalence.

Check your equivalence status

  • If you newly enrolled in Ukraine after 12 February 2022, take into account that YÖK does not grant equivalence.
  • Verify whether the program is formal education, distance instruction, open education, or external education.
  • Check your program's field, the university's ranking, the credit requirements, and the language-of-instruction requirements.
  • If you are enrolled in a formal program, check whether you are present in the country where you study for at least 70% of each academic term.
  • Keep your passports, entry-exit records, and required school documents for your equivalence application.
  • Before opening a special-student file, ask at kiev@meb.gov.tr whether the documents vary depending on the university.
