Applying to universities in Ukraine: checklist

Application

• 1. Open a digital accountEnter your email address using the Register option on the application portal and wait for registration confirmation.
• 2. Complete the form and upload the documentsUpload your diploma, transcript or academic document if required, passport, and color photograph in PDF or JPG format.
• 3. Pay the application feePay 3,100 hryvnias once; after payment, the application is automatically sent to the university.
• 4. Review the admission offerIf the university approves your application, accept or reject the Offer of Admission received in your digital account.
• 5. Obtain the education invitationAfter accepting the offer, obtain the electronically signed invitation issued by the university and check its validity period.
• 6. Obtain a type D visa if necessaryIf you need a visa to enter Ukraine, apply for a type D student visa at a Ukrainian mission in your country.

• 7. Enter your border information in the digital accountBefore setting out, enter the date and time of entry and the border crossing you will use in your digital account.
• 8. Apply for a temporary residence permitIf you will stay for more than 90 days, submit the documents to the relevant office at least 15 business days before the end of your stay.
