Initial procedures

• 1. Obtain the local death certificateReport the death within the required period to ЗАГС or МФЦ in Russia and to ДРАЦС in Ukraine, and obtain the healthcare institution's certificate.
• 2. Notify the Turkish missionOutside working hours, call the mission's duty phone or the Consular Call Center.

• 3. Contact a funeral transport companyHave the company prepare a funeral information form showing the transport vehicle, date and time, and the person who will receive the body in Türkiye.
• 4. Request the death transport documentSubmit the petition, identity documents and passports, local death certificate, and the transport company's funeral information form to the mission.

• 5. Register the death in the Turkish recordsHave the death registered at the mission or by post to prevent delays in inheritance and other procedures.
