Preparing for employment and entry

• 1. Verify the company's IT accreditationRequest the state accreditation document in the IT field from the employer.
• 2. Sign the employment contractEnter into an employment contract or service contract.
• 3. Clarify the visa typeDetermine with your employer and the Russian consulate which type of visa you will use to enter Russia.

• 4. Ensure that the employer submits the notificationEnsure that the employer notifies the Interior Ministry office of the start or end of the contract within 3 business days.
• 5. Complete your migration registrationComplete your migration registration within 7 business days after arriving in Russia.
• 6. Complete fingerprinting and photographingRegister within 30 calendar days from the employment contract date and no later than 90 calendar days from entry.
• 7. Complete the medical examinationUndergo a medical examination within the statutory deadlines and repeat it every year.
• 8. Extend the period of stayApply to the Interior Ministry office to extend the period of stay according to your contract.
• 9. Apply for a ВНЖApply to the relevant migration office with the required contract, IT education or qualification document, family, and language documents.
