Registration and examination

  • If you are staying, studying, or working for more than 90 days, determine the rules for fingerprint registration, photographing, and the medical examination.
  • Go in person to the Ministry of Internal Affairs migration unit or an authorized organization in the region where you are staying; you can make an appointment through Gosuslugi.
  • Present your passport when applying; your fingerprints and photograph will be taken, and you will then receive a registration document.
  • Choose an authorized medical organization from the list published by the administration of the region where you are staying.
  • Undergo the examination within 30 calendar days from entry; check that the results have been processed as an electronic report.
  • Repeat the examination within 30 calendar days after one year has elapsed since your last examination.
  • Track the 30- and 90-day periods from your date of entry; a violation may result in your period of stay being shortened.
