1. Prepare the documents
Prepare the Russian marriage certificate, identity documents and, if necessary, the foreign spouse's birth certificate.

Registration procedures
- Prepare the Russian marriage certificate, identity documents and, if necessary, the foreign spouse's birth certificate.
- Determine the Turkish diplomatic mission responsible for the region where the ZAGS that performed the marriage is located.
- Apply by mail or make an appointment through konsolosluk.gov.tr and apply in person.
- Submit or send the marriage certificate and documents showing the identity details of the person submitting the notification to the diplomatic mission.
- The diplomatic mission records the marriage in the civil registry.
- Apply for a new identity card after marriage registration has been completed.
- After registration, apply by appointment for an international family record book or Formula B.
